Because every child deserves to succeed
With over 30 years in education, my passion has always been to champion children with special educational needs. I’ve taught in both mainstream and specialist schools across London, led specialist resource provisions, set up a Nurture group for children at risk of exclusion, run Forest School sessions, and held leadership roles as maths and Literacy lead, Assistant Head SENDCo, and Advisory Teacher.
I also ran my own childminding business focused on SEN, earning two Outstanding Ofsted grades and an award for Outstanding Early Years Services in Enfield.
Over the years, I’ve supported families by tutoring children and guiding parents through the school system—helping with EHCPs, DLA/PIP applications, liaising with external agencies and making referrals to specialists.
I believe working alongside families is the key to transforming a child’s learning journey. Parents, I know how tough it can feel—but you are not alone! Together, we can help your child grow in confidence, skills, and pride.

Testimonials
"Nathalie came into Aura's life at a very low point. She managed to change my parenting style in a really supportive and sensitive way. She modelled to me how to interact better and I started using widgits and routine boards in our everyday life. She helped me communicate with her school to make positive changes and I felt more empowered."
Besmira
"Nathalie Apcher worked with my child who was at risk of exclusion. She became such a big part of our lives and I think things might have taken a different turn without her. My son is now more confident and is completing his Level 2 functional skills."
O. Boyce
"Nathalie Apcher taught my daughter with Down syndrome for over 4 years. She really knew my child and managed to make her feel confident by giving her a voice. She gave her the tools to access learning better in a mainstream classroom."
Jo
"Nathalie worked with my son for over 5 years both at his school, leading a Forest School for children with SEMH challenges and at our home. She offered me invaluable support with the paperwork, applying for his EHCP and PIP. She was also a mentor and coach. She helped him to develop social skills and resolve issues with his peers. She was able to gain his trust and build a very strong relationship with him."
Hannah
"Nathalie has taken measures to apply and receive an EHCP for her son as well as liaise with professionals (SALT, OT) She keeps meticulous records of his work. This is one of the best examples that I have seen of Elective Home Education."
